CDAS recommendations
The Conference of Cantonal Directors of Social Affairs (CDAS) published in 2016 recommendations addressed to the cantons to improve the care of unaccompanied minors in the field of asylum. These minimum standards aim to harmonize cantonal regulations, particularly in the areas of accommodation, supervision and legal representation and the transition adulthood.

Principles of children on the move
ADEM adheres to the "Recommended Principles when conducting operations related to children on the move and other children affected by migration." These principles include nine recommendations designed to support and strengthen the quality of the protective measures granted to migrant children. They build on the recommendations of the Committee on Children's Rights published during the Day of General Discussion in 2012 devoted to children's rights in the context of international migration.
